Cavalli Estate in Stellenbosch has been widely applauded as a magnificent wedding and corporate events venue. The wine estate design presents the visitor with modern sophisticated buildings and immaculate lawns boasting spectacular views of the Helderberg mountains. Cavalli Estate's love of horses permeates through the design and architecture, lending itself to a feeling of being surrounded by opulent luxury.
In the planning for a Gala Dinner event, we conceptualised that the décor for pre-drinks area should be crisp and refined but understated allowing the guests to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.
A simple flower arrangement of proteas and fynbos sourced from local farmers was used to decorate the tables. The mountain view backdrop complemented the beautiful proteas bringing the natural beauty of the countryside into the sophistication of the event. Incidently, in local tradition, the protea is a symbol of change and hope.
The immaculate lawn was divided up into lounge pockets, some containing a variety of seating while others were composed entirely of ottomans or beanbag chairs or cushions. The pure white colour of the seating complimented the lush green of the lawn, accenting the harmony of modern sophistication and the beauty of nature.
